I was going to write a post about this but I kept putting it off.
Oh well - maybe tomorrow.
TenaciousK / FieldingBandolier is rethinking the discrimination between the temporal and the abstract, and invites you to cut him some slack.

who is he to call minesweeper stupid?! probably sour grapes cuz he's no good at it, after years and years of trying.
wasn't it just yesterday that we were all killing ourselves with hurry sickness?
It's how you feel about what you're doing (or not doing) that's so damaging, not the act itself. So, yeah we were all dying of hurrying last week, and we're all dying of not hurrying this week, because we feel like we're supposed to be hurrying.
I think I'll relocate.
Just for the record, I've aways prefered not hurrying. But these damn bills have to be paid....

I'll have to get back to you on that.
yet another opportunity for me to type the words:
this is what i envy in you stage people. you make time seem so important. "i must change my clothes now!" "i must make my entrance now!" but life is not a succession of urgent now's. it is a listless trickle of why-should-i's.
That's lovely, Max. I'd not heard it before - I had to google for provenance.
Thanks.
